The goal of Deepsea Logistics is based in managing lifecycles of projects in conjunction with the supply chain. We combine professional expertise in inventory management, purchasing, transportation and storage. The planning includes activities such as materials handling, transport, packaging, documentation, and import/export regulatory compliance.
Deepsea Logistics personnel have the expertise to identify and solve logistic challenges. Through efficient processes we focus on controlling the flow and storage of materials and ensuring from any point of origin shipments arrive on time at the site with the support and information provided by the project schedule planner. This could be defined as materials shipped and arrived in good condition on time and ready to be assembled for erection.
Deepsea Logistics personnel will take care of next following activities:
- Define, establish, and manage customer-specific delivery channels in an increasingly complex world. We provide shipping solutions through a globalized supply chain.
- Identify and manage service providers qualified in all transport modes. Our providers have the expertness to move any size equipment or cargo to the most remote locations in the most cost-effective way.
- Coordinate the activity of export packaging to ensure that the load is properly prepared for transport. This includes repackaging, improving, or validating cargo packaging and contents. Prepare all relevant documents required for transit until the materials are required for the inventory phase on the site.
- Freight forwarding experience in international projects and specialized customs agents, in accordance with export and import requirements.
- Provide latest technology required for tracking and tracing of materials to keep our customers informed about the status of the shipment until is delivered and discharged in store yard or warehouse.
- Arrange and organize multidisciplinary teams to manage the site materials, resources and mechanical equipment and transport in the site.
